And Guiding Principles

These are our current values that are guiding how we roll in Business For The People. We believe that values are fluid...they shift and change as we get more information or learn more...they don’t stay stagnant.

☉ Experimentation
There is no correct way of being in or doing business...everything is possible. We don’t ascribe to one particular framework or believe that business has to be done in one way or another. We believe the best way of being in business is one that works for you.

☉ Rigor
We want things to be excellent and we do things with intention and deep consideration. We like to move from vision to reality.

☉ True Diversity
When we say diversity we mean it...which means we are diverse across race, class, and gender. Diversity for us also means that Blackness is centered and not just an afterthought or some quota.

☉ Embodiment
We really give a fuck about the state of the world. Being “woke” isn’t a cool t-shirt purchase or IG meme for us. We’re willing to get in the trenches.

☉ Soulfulness
We honor the interconnectedness of everything. We understand that being able to show up as our full selves in the world and thus in our business is the only way to exist.

☉ Mutual Beneficilaity
Our bottom lines are not only for the care of our respective well-being but for the well-being of everyone who works with us.
